Bunting with Birds

For this piece I have chosen some pretty cotton prints from which I have hand cut miniature bunting, stitching each flag into place with fine stitches, additing two little white doves, one with a heart in her beak.  I then embroidered some daisies beneath in a free style, wherever the needle took me.
 
The pretty country colours work well together and this piece would make a lovely gift when you want to celebrate a special time, engagement, wedding, birth of baby, or just to add a heart-warming touch to a corner of your own home.
 
The lightly distressed whitened wood frame measures 7" (18cm) square and will arrive with glass in place, corded ready to hang, with my studio stamp on the back.The mount carries the title 'Bunting with Birds' and is signed.
