Turning over the calendar page this morning feels like the end of winter! The ever-changing picture, the window to this room, is now full of signs of spring!  Bobbing daffodils, pale green shoots along the weeping willow fronds and pairs of canoodling pigeons. February-Fill-Dyke a poem by William Burton beautifully describes what it’s like here at the moment, out on the Lincolnshire marshes. It has been very cold with a raw easterly wind and days of rain.
