Little Flowers
I have stitched a shower of pretty flowers in a variety of stitches, in-between tiny applique flowers cut from my own hand-dyed recycled cottons with an applique heart motif in the centre. Made entirely free-style with no chart or drawing to follow, the work has an informal 'country' feel. The pretty colours work well together and would make a lovely gift when you want to celebrate a special time, or add a heartwarming touch to a corner of a room in your own home. Perfect for Christmas too!
The frame is a lightly distressed narrow chalky brown measuring 8" (20cm) square and will arrive with glass in place, corded, ready to hang, with my studio stamp on the back. The mount carries the title 'Little Flowers' and is signed. A very detailed and intricately worked piece of hand-stitched embroidery.
