Hearts and Daisies

Tiny applique hearts cut from a variety of vintage cottons are carefully hand-stitched into place with the addition of hand embroidered daisies; the piece is constructed within a running-stitch background.

This miniature textile would make a lovely gift for romantic occasions, to welcome a new baby, or a coming of age - pretty and feminine the work is framed in a lightly distressed whitened wood frame measuring 7"/18cms square and my studio stamp is on the back; it comes with glass and hanging cord in place, all ready to hang.
