The garden still has quite a few flowers; even the hanging baskets have some colour. They tried again, with some success, after the fearsome heat of summer appeared to kill them off. But soon the frost will come; the fog already visits regularly. Soon too the seals at Donna Nook will be singing in the cold air as they come ashore to breed a mile or two away from here. November means it’s not long until Christmas, so I have been re-stocking the Christmas Shop (tab here on the Home page) with discounted three card and six card selections to brighten up your loved ones’ mantlepieces!
