Home is Where the Heart is

Simple but effective design of a little cottage worked as an applique with additional topstitched details. On the roof are three tiny white hearts - the middle one is slightly smaller than the other two - maybe a couple with a new baby live in the house! My idea when designing and stitching the piece was that it would make a lovely gift for a new home, or new baby, but is a heartwarming design suitable for any number of settings.

The work is entirely hand-stitched and is framed in a simple plain light wood frame measuring 7" (17.5cm) square and it will arrive with glass in place and corded all ready to hang. The mount carries the title of the piece 'Home is Where the Heart is' and my signature.

I can add a plain white card to the back of the picture (optional) for you to write a personal gift inscription, or I can write on it 'Hand stitched for .........' if you prefer. Just let me have your requirements in the comments box when checking out.

Although I do repeat my designs from time to time, should you decide to buy, this is the actual embroidery you will receive - it is unique, as no two works are ever the same.
